Rule of Law Experts - El Salvador

Tetra Tech DPK seeks short and long-term rule of law experts for an anticipated USAID-funded project in El Salvador. Candidates must be fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English.

Requirements?:

  • Candidates must have significant experience in at least one of the following areas:
    • Judicial education
    • Criminal procedure
    • Community policing
    • Judicial appointment/evaluation/discipline
    • Public/citizen oversight of government functions
  • Degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience
  • Advanced degree highly desirable
  • Prior experience on USAID or other international donor-funded rule of law projects preferred
  • Prior experience and an understanding of development and political issues in Latin America required
  • Demonstrated reporting, writing, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Living and working experience in a post-conflict or other challenging environment
  • Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English

Anti-Corruption Experts - Monrovia, Liberia

Tetra Tech DPK seeks anti-corruption experts for an anticipated 3-year USAID-funded anti-corruption project in Liberia. The purpose of the anticipated program is to reduce corruption in Liberia through strengthened anti-corruption oversight, adjudicatory, prosecutorial, and investigative institutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience as a judge, prosecutor, law enforcement official, auditor, or in a related field
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: 1) Prosecution, investigation, or adjudication of corruption, economic, or orgainzed crimes; 2) Anti-corruption oversight; 3) Anti-Corruption legal reform
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
  • JD or advanced degree in a related subject
  • Prior experience on a USAID or other international donor-funded rule of law projects preferred
  • Experience in West Africa preferred

Court Executive Financial Management Advisor – Afghanistan

Tetra Tech DPK seeks a Court Executive Financial Management Advisor for the USAID Rule of Law Stabilization Program (Formal Component) in Afghanistan.

General Role and Responsibilities:

  • Review existing financial management situation in Afghanistan courts
  • Draft court executive program budget and financial management curriculum
  • Conduct training
  • Develop and present final report to USAID and Supreme Court
  • Other duties as assigned by the Chief of Party or his designee

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience and degree in relevant field
  • Must have prior experience working on USAID or other donor funded programs
  • Familiarity with political, economic, and social issues in Afghanistan or South Asia
  • Overseas experience required, preferably in Afghanistan
  • Demonstrated reporting, writing, and communication skills
  • Prior experience on international donor-funded rule of law projects preferred
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
